Long before Spirit Science ever began, I animated and created a series called “Exile” - a fantasy epic that I dreamed up as a teenager. Today, Exile has become Elixir, and it has been our core focus at Team Spirit for the last few years. In this mini-series, we are reviving the original animations in a fun way, glitching with new scenes to bring this world to life. All of this is in anticipation of the true Elixir Season 1, which has been dramatically rewritten, filling in the gap of the two-year time-jump between episodes 1 and 2 in the original telling. As we prepare for the launch of Elixir Season 1, I wanted to pay homage to the original story, where Elixir truly began. These original cartoons were made between high school classes and after school, and many late nights.
