Description

Hello ji 👋 Welcome back to another episode of Silk Road Trip 2.0: Road to Kabul. Today, I explore the streets of Kabul — walking through local markets, trying food, and meeting some incredibly warm and welcoming people. This side of Kabul is very different from what most of us imagine. I also had to arrange special permits from Kabul for my journey ahead to Nooristan and Panjshir Valley — which turned out to be an experience in itself. Towards the end, I visit Bagh-e-Babar (Babur’s Garden) — the final resting place of Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire. And trust me, his story is far more interesting than what we were taught — from conquering India to his personal life, struggles, and the lesser-known truths behind his journey. Next episode: the ride to one of the most remote and beautiful regions of Afghanistan — Nooristan. Life is enjoy :) 00:00 Intro 01:20 Hunt for Chapli Kebab 05:55 People of Kabul 13:31 Getting Permits 15:50 Babar's Garden 22:46 The Story of Babar 33:39 Outro
