‘Carve out all businesses’: Expert’s message to Jim Chalmers on tax changes

Wilson Asset Management Chair Geoff Wilson, who was barred from an inquiry into Jim Chalmers’ controversial tax changes, has begged the Treasurer to exempt Australian businesses. “Carve out Australian businesses, all Australian businesses. Just do that,” Mr Wilson told Sky News Australia. “What we’re trying to do is we’re trying to get increase employment, increase wages, increase you know taxes paid by Australian business and growth for Australian business. And opportunities for young Australians to have ambition and inspiration.”
