It's been established that Caine really likes re-using his NPCs in The Amazing Digital Circus to save a bit of memory and space here and there. So, ideally, it would stand to reason the Crappy Looking Fish would probably pop up in future now too since they are technically NPCs of some kind! If only Pomni knew that before Caine did an airplane adventure and made it a full flight..
