I Left Italy… Here’s What Happened Next

After 21 years in Italy, I’m packing up my life in Florence and starting a new chapter in Bangkok. Italy gave me everything... late pasta dinners, chaotic trains, endless espresso, and neighbors who argued louder than car horns. But now it is time to step away from Tuscan sunsets and see what happens next. In this video I share what it really feels like to leave behind a country that shaped me. I talk about the postcard illusion of Italy versus the messy daily reality, the challenge of reverse culture shock, and what it means to carry Italy with me as I begin a new life in Thailand. This is not a goodbye to Italy. I still have videos rolling out from this summer and I will be back next year exploring Sicily, Puglia, and the Dolomites.
