Description

"Ten tips for lazy gardeners! Virginia is a Master Gardener, she joined WICL in 2024. As a bit of background, I was a MG for 15 years in Pierce County WA, the home of the first MG program ever (started by Ed Hume and friends!). I spent many years as Chair of the Spring Plant sale, and in that time, our gross receipts went from about $25,000 to over $70,000 - then Covid hit! I joined the NW Fuchsia Society in about 2001, and served as president for several years, as well as president of the local Tacoma society. My garden was on the tour of homes for the NW International Conference in 2008, when I had over 50 varieties of hardy fuchsias. Then the deer found them! That conference and the friends made led to a visit to the 2013 conference in Stratford Upon Avon, England, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the British Fuchsia Society. "
