Antony van der Meer was struck and killed by lightning while hiking through Kings Canyon with family on New Year's Day. Jess van der Meer was with her husband Antony when it struck. “You could hear thunder in the far distance,” she recalls. Six months on Jess is keeping her husband's memory alive by donating blood in his honour.
