How We Made This Birthday Extra Special!

When it was my own 6th birthday party my friend gifted me a ninja turtle flashlight. I opened it and said out loud in front of everyone “I already have one of these!” He started to cry and I felt terrible and I’ve never forgotten that moment. Sooo now we have a tradition in our family : When our kids open a present, they, together with all their friends and everyone at the party go “Oooohhhh!! YAY!!!” And cheer for every gift no matter what it is. It’s actually really fun and makes the experience hype..FOR EVERYONE :) ps. Another birthday hack and shoutout to my cheapskate under frugal wife.
