This game was absolutely legendary

The 2025 Stanley Cup Final just started game 1 with a BANG! While we had to wait all week for it to begin, it absolutely delivered. We had a great goalie duel between Sergei Bobrovsky and Stuart Skinner, some big hits led by Evander Kane and 3 different lead changes resulting in the best way to end a game 1 which is Overtime. The Edmonton Oilers started things off with a goal right out the gate as Leon Draisaitl, who didn’t score a single goal in last years Cup final, got the first goal of this years final. However, the Florida Panthers led by Sam Bennett came right back and in the span of less than two minutes, were suddenly ahead with a Brad Marchand goal. A 2nd of the night from Bennett with the way Bob was playing, didn’t look good for Edmonton. However, they’ve been the comeback Oilers all Playoffs and sure enough, they had a huge second half of this game coming all the way back and forcing this game to OT.
