Description

Reviewing Nubia's RedMagic 11 Air, a 2026 gaming smartphone boasting top performance on a budget. While lacking some Pro features, the RedMagic 11 Air is a powerful phone ideal for Wuthering Waves and other demanding Android games. I've been testing it this past week and here's my verdict. First, you don't lose too much vs the Red Magic 11 Pro (which I reviewed last year). That liquid cooling tech is gone and the Air rocks the OG Snapdragon 8 Elite, rather than Gen 5. However, the RedMagic 11 Air can still pump out a stable 60FPS with Wuthering Waves, even on the highest graphics settings, and stay cool too. This is one of the best - and sure, only - gaming smartphones at this price point. You've got an upgraded 7000mAh battery with fast charge support, a gorgeous full-view screen (almost 7 inches) and stereo speakers. Plus, the RedMagic 11 Air serves up a ton of great gaming features, like haptic shoulder triggers. It's not all great news, of course. That software isn't as slick as some might like, while the camera tech is undeniably limited. However, as a gaming phone, the RedMagic 11 Air is one of my favourites for 2026.
