Gang allegedly targets family of ex-NRL star's son

Sydney's gangland war is escalating. Police have announced a new taskforce just a day after former NRL star Matt Utai was gunned down outside his Sydney home. Police are investigating potential links between his son, Izaiah Utai and a notorious crime family. Since then another two other houses that are allegedly linked to Izaiah have been targeted. One home was firebombed and the other was peppered with bullets by masked gunmen.
