Silvopastoral systems involves the combined management of trees, forage and livestock on the same land. Managed private native forest and alley-row planting within pasture paddocks are two forms of silvopasture that will be discussed. Drawing on examples from NSW, Queensland and South America, our speakers will discuss how cattle and timber industries can be complimentary.
