Doctor on Trial for Wife’s Attempted Murder Searched Reddit for Infidelity

Thomas Iinuma, a digital forensics examiner with the Honolulu Police Department, took the stand Tuesday to discuss his examination of a laptop that allegedly belonged to Gerhardt Konig. The detective spoke about the several Reddit searches that were done under Gerhardt’s laptop profile that discussed finding out about his wife, Arielle’s, infidelity, and he didn’t know if he could continue their relationship in December 2024. Gerhardt is currently on trial for allegedly attacking his wife after allegedly pushing her toward a cliff, trying to inject her with a syringe, and hitting her repeatedly with a lava rock.
