Description

We finally got heavy snow in Vancouver! - which means David can test out the new winter tires from Continental! David has been waiting to try out a new set of Continental VikingContact 8 tires in snowy, wintery conditions but Vancouver did not get any snow until just now... so David quickly went up the local ski resort to evaluate and test out the winter tires. The grip and performance of the VikingContact 8 was phenomenal despite heavy snow up in the mountain, and the winter set allowed David's GX 550 to perform like there was no snow on the ground. The Continental set is also extremely comfortable and quiet on non-winter conditions, which reminded David how important it is to have a separate set of winter tires (vs AT or all season tires year around). Many thanks to Continental for providing this set of tires for evaluation purposes (David's opinion remains unbiased and neutral as always).
