One-Man Install: Bolt-Together Double Wide Shipping Container

In this video, we take two 20-foot shipping containers with full side doors and turn them into one 16-foot wide structure using our newest LOW-PROFILE bolt-together double wide kit. No welding, no cutting corners, and no shortcuts. Just smart engineering, clean installs, and a lot of problem solving along the way. This setup uses a fully bolt-on system that allows the containers to be joined side-by-side while keeping everything square, sealed, and structurally sound. We walk through the entire process from setting the containers, installing the structural floor supports, dialing in the roof system, and sealing everything up so it’s ready for real use. You’ll see how the new low-profile double wide kit works, how we deal with real-world container inconsistencies, and why this setup opens the door to a lot more possibilities than a standard single container build.
