Australian Raven Stunned Again

Marcel was in the area several times in the space of a three hour period and i was fortunate enough to be there when he turned up,on this occasion i had just arrived when i saw him foraging in the front yard,as i had his food i thought i would see if he was hungry.as he approached me i heard one of the adult birds fly overhead and Marcel came towards me after seeing the chopsticks and hungrily took what was offered however after the second shovel load something very strange happened,as had happened on at least one other occasion.once again Marcel cocked his head to the right side,his mouth/beak open whilst assuming squatted position with his wings slightly spread and at times it looked like his eye/s rolled back in his head.he was in this position for well over a minute and a half by the time i had prepared my phone & started recording this.as stated,this is not the first time that i have seen Marcel assume this position & i wonder can he see something/one behind me that makes him " zone " out ?. this an "end of days" type event that seems to be a mystery at this time. Marcel was found on the ground in the last week of july after a very stormy night,after ringing a few places i was instructed to take him to specific vet surgery where i was advised that he was a raven,healthy,unlikely to have fallen to ground & he was a fledgling & " should be returned to where he was found his parents will look after him ". unfortunately this was not the case and it was 4/5 days before the parents came near him,he also had a talon missing from a rear toe that became quite swollen & infected in the weeks that followed needing treatment,it was paw paw ointment that cleared it up . after having no success with other conventional treatments.Although the only sure fire way to accurately identify the gender of a raven is by blood/dna test Marcel has been declared a male for a number of reasons with the primary one coming from my 15 yr old daughter who has declared that " that bird has to be a male.its just so annoying " fortunately she avoids Marcel otherwise he might think his name is/was " stupid bird " admittedly the poor kid was swooped by a maggie as a five year old & it appears that it has left her quite scarred.
