Description

The 2023+ 6.7L Power Stroke received some major mechanical upgrades from Ford, and many people don’t realize just how significant these changes actually are. These updates were primarily introduced so the engine could safely handle the insane power figures of the High Output Power Stroke, which now produces 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. But here’s the interesting part — Ford didn’t want to build two completely different engines. So both the Standard Output and High Output Power Stroke actually received the same core mechanical upgrades for 2023. The High Output version mainly adds a different turbo compressor housing for improved cooling and stainless steel exhaust manifolds, but otherwise the engines are nearly identical internally. Even though Ford still calls this the 3rd generation Power Stroke, the 2023+ engines are mechanically different from the 2020–2022 versions, making them some of the strongest and most capable diesel engines Ford has ever built. #PowerStroke #67PowerStroke #FordSuperDuty #DieselTruck #DieselPower
