Description
Ingredients
500 grams flour (preferably 50% bread flour and 50% all purpose)
2 tsp instant dry yeast
1 and ½ tsp salt
1/2 cup powdered milk any brand
1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
180 ml luke warm water
1/2 cup left over mashes potato
If no left over magluto nalang at i-mashed ng pino
Topping
125 grams room temp Creamcheese
120 grams room temp margarine or butter
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
(Whisk the butter until pale color add the rest of ingredients)
Grated Cheese on top
Procedure
To make the dough mix all the ingredients listed,
You must put water little at a time to get the right texture , kneed until smooth and elastic . Roll the doudh
Put on a greased bowl and and brush with oil on top , cover and rest upto 1hr ,
Open release the air of the dough and form in to roll.
Cut it on your desire weight of the dough ,
Roll it until the dough form long and make a twirl, and put on the molder ,. Rest 45 minutes to 1h then brush it with egg wash . ( Combination of milk and egg )
It will helps the ensaymada to make its golden brown color on the top .
Baked at 180c 15-25 mins until golden brown.
Let it completely cool and brush with margarine or butter and top it with granulated sugar.
You can put butter cream and cheese to make it more special
