The Judds are a mother-daughter country duo formed by Naomi and Wynonna Judd in Kentucky. They sign with RCA in 1983 and between 1984-1991 release numerous hits, scoring 14 number-ones on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Their debut album "Why Not Me" (1984) rockets them into prominence. The title track "Why Not Me", released September 1984, becomes their second #1 country single in the U.S., holding the #1 spot for two weeks and staying on the country chart for 15 weeks in total. It also reaches #3 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart. "Why Not Me" was performed in the Dutch tv program "Ron's Honeymoonquiz" broadcasted on February 3, 1985.
