The Heart of Camp: The Fire Pit The fire pit is the center of camp life. On chilly winter mornings, it’s the first place you’ll go for coffee and warmth before we head out at sunrise. It’s also where we gather every evening to share stories and look at the day’s best photos. Dining in the Wild We love the tradition of bush dining. Our camp team cooks every meal over an open fire, serving everything from big breakfasts to three-course dinners under the stars. Safety and the Open Wilderness People often ask about sleeping in an unfenced camp. Because there are no fences, you get a truly authentic experience. Once the sun sets and the lions start calling, the wilderness comes to life around us. While you are safe inside your tent, our trail cameras often catch honey badgers or hyenas passing through camp to investigate.
