Spring Cut Back For Grape Hyacinth - March 1, 2026

Eight years since I planted these. They have been blooming reliably every spring. I cut the foliage back twice a year. The foliage after bloom time are removed when they turn yellow. New foliage starts to show in Fall. I leave the alone till early spring. Cutting them back so the blooms can show off better when they arrive. Plus, the foliage would be messy and blocking other plants around them if left alone.
