14 New Witnesses sa Flood Control projects,Handang Tumestigo.Another 14 supposed former employees of ex-Congressman Zaldy Co are ready to face the Senate investigation, Atty. Levito Baligod confirmed on Monday.This is on top of the first 18 who claimed to be bagmen of Co, and allegedly delivered cash-filled luggages to several government officials in relation to the flood control scandal.Baligod said he will submit the names of the fourteen to Sen. Robin Padilla, whom they acknowledge as a member of the Senate blue ribbon committee.He added that another seven may be presented to the Senate, but their situation is currently sensitive.Sen. Erwin Tulfo was elected as the panel’s chairperson in place of Sen. Pia Cayetano; however, the Cayetano bloc insists that Tulfo’s election is invalid.Tulfo, along with the Blue Ribbon Oversight Office Management, confirmed this, contrary to the social media post of former Congressman Mike Defensor, who announced that there would be a hearing on the flood control scam outside Senate premises on Tuesday.The public and all concerned stakeholders are hereby advised that no hearing of the Senate Committee on Accountability of Public Officers and Investigations (blue ribbon committee) has been scheduled for June 16, 2026,
