My dream...I closed on 200 acres in Belize in the middle of the jungle off of the iconic and scenic Hummingbird Highway. 130 acres is an active farm producing oranges and grapefruits. The current harvest pays for 4 full time workers. My plan is to add coffee, cocoa, pineapple, and mango to the farm. My goal is to build a jungle resort with a restaurant, bar, pool, cold plunge, gym, CrossFit, yoga space, and walking trails throughout the community. The property backs up to the Mayan mountains, a 30 minute drive to the Caribbean, and easy access to Mayan ruins, jungle waterfalls, hiking, Mayan adventures and so much more. I will build single family eco homes one by one, for short-term rental. I also own beach front property in San Pedro which will be a beautiful beach house soon. The first time I tried to get this property and I could not work out a favorable deal with the sellers. I figured I’d check back a year later and was able to get the property for 200k less! I knew the market had changed so I figured l’d give it another try. It worked out because I was willing to walk away. You saw this post here first.
