A Cardinal Growling at a Woodpecker - #shorts

A female Northern Cardinal was enjoying herself eating the last of the sunflower seeds in the bird feeder. A Downy Woodpecker soon perched on the feeder. As soon as the Cardinal saw the Woodpecker, the Cardinal made a growling sound, attempting to chase the Woodpecker away. A male House Finch was also eating at the feeder, but the sound of the Cardinal chased the Finch away instead. -- Bird watching is a hobby of mine.
