🐺 Zeus Update — PLEASE Read If You Have DogsQuick update on Zeus… and a very serious reminder for all dog parents.Corn cobs can kill your dog.Not the corn — the cob.They don’t digest. They cause blockages. And blockages can mean emergency surgery… or worse. This is NOT something to “wait and see.”As most of you know, Zeus ate half of a corn cob this week. The bigger half. We rushed him to the vet, did x-rays, a barium study, and monitored him closely.And the good news?Everything is moving. 🙏It looks like Zeus is going to pass it without surgery. I am beyond grateful. God is so good.But I want to say this clearly — if your dog ever eats a corn cob, do not ignore it. Even if they seem fine. Even if they’re acting normal. Get them seen. Immediately.I made the mistake of thinking the counter was high enough. It wasn’t.Learn from me. Don’t leave corn cobs anywhere a dog can reach them.Zeus is home. He’s happy.
