In the Season 2 finale of Peakin’ British Columbia, Biz and Donnie embark on their most meaningful adventure yet as they join a group of amputees and their friends on a hike deep into a national park. Their destination: a private cabin on a remote lake—reachable only by trail and boat.
Along the way, Biz and Donnie learn how these adaptive athletes rebuilt their lives through David Vobora’s Adaptive Training Foundation, gaining the strength and confidence to pursue challenges that once felt impossible. Their stories of recovery, resilience, and community push the boys to see the hike—and their own limits—in a whole new way.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Peakin’ without some wilderness surprises. On the trail they stumble across a magical lemonade stand, chat with local foragers, and feed a ton of very friendly birds. And thanks to Donnie’s questionable boating skills, everyone somehow makes it to the cabin safely—where they all go full hippo mode and share an unforgettable night together.
By the end of the trip, Biz and Donnie feel deeply inspired by the group’s stories and leave with a set of friendships they know will last a lifetime.
