From the Bajadilla fishing port, Marbella town center, El Ancón, Rio Verde, Puerto Banús and San Pedro. Flanked by pavement cafes, restaurants, this promenade is one of the most attractive on the Costa del Sol and has the added advantage of being within minutes to the center of town. It is perfect for walking, running, and cycling, and offers stunning Mediterranean views attracting tourists and locals alike. The beaches are well visited during the summer and offer beach bars (chiringuitos), restaurants, water sports, sun loungers and other ammenities, there are also life guards on duty in the summer months. The most popular beach is La Fontanilla at 800m long next to the port; Playa Faro (on the other side of the port). Beaches on the outskirts of the town are quieter, such as El Cable which is backed by sand dunes as opposed to buildings. It is part of the Senda Litoral de Malaga (Málaga Coastal Path) a projected 163km path following the entire coast of Malaga province from Manilva to Nerja.
