Description

Ken Block's highly modified 1978 Ford Escort Mk2 RS became a staple of his Hoonigan productions. Originally a right-hand-drive road car, it was converted to left-hand-drive for Gymkhana competition. It featured a 2.5-liter Millington Diamond engine producing 333 horsepower with a 9,000 rpm redline. The car was famous for its screaming naturally aspirated sound, sequential gearbox, and custom Rocket Bunny widebody kit. The Audi S1 e-tron quattro Hoonitron, an all-electric prototype built specifically for Block's Electrikhana video in Las Vegas. Developed by Audi Sport in just four weeks, its design paid homage to the 1980s Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak racer. Mechanically, it featured two electric motors providing all-wheel drive and roughly 670 horsepower. With over 900 lb-ft of torque, it was capable of spinning into donuts at nearly 100 mph from a standstill. This carbon-fiber-chassis machine represented Block's transition into high-performance electric drifting before his passing. #hoonigan #rallycar
