Description

► He sobbed, “they are calling me a predator”. Mansoor Ahmed called the British Transport Police and provided a reference number to his own sexual assault case – so he could abuse the call taker. The 31-year-old, who was jailed for more than two years for sexually assaulting two women on the London Underground in 2020, was recorded saying “I’m coming to stab” BTS staff and wanted to “open their hearts”. He also threatened them with an acid attack. Ahmed was angry at the BTS after his custody photo was published in media reports after he was sentenced and spent 14 minutes hurling abuse at BTP’s First Contact Centre on 27 May. Officers arrested him over the call, and bodycam footage caught him branding them, “dossers”. But his tune soon changed. Ahmed explained to detectives that a “red mist” came over him during the call, and during interrogation, he broke down, sobbing, “they put it in an online article. They are calling me a predator.” On 3 July, Ahmed was jailed for six months after admitting threatening communications, possession of cannabis, and a public order offence. #crime #police ► Have you subscribed to 5 News?: http://bit.ly/5NewsSub ► Follow 5 News on Twitter to keep up to date with the latest news - https://twitter.com/5_News Message us on Facebook to share your opinion - https://www.facebook.com/c5News See our latest pictures and videos on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/c5news/ ► About 5 News: We bring you the stories that matter to you, from around the world and across the UK. 🎥 We post daily playlists with the biggest news of the day, interviews, special reports and investigations. 📺 Catch us on TV on Channel 5 every weekday 5-6pm 📱 Get in touch with us on WhatsApp at +44 7555 500 501 🎧 Listen to "How Did We Get Here?
