He supplies poor-quality goods and manipulates records, but manager Suresh (Abhi Bhattacharya) stands firmly against him. In response, Sahuji creates unrest among workers and runs illegal trade operations with support from local officials. His son Kaaliram (Amjad Khan) behaves recklessly, troubling villagers and creating fear in the area. A mysterious stranger Abhijeet (Amitabh Bachchan) arrives and repeatedly stands up to Kaaliram, earning respect. Abhijeet also forms a bond with Tamosha/Rajni (Rakhee Gulzar), and later reveals his true identity as a senior officer to restore order. In the end, truth prevails as wrongdoing is exposed, bringing justice and peace back to the community.
