I start the day from a beautiful riverside campsite high in the Pamirs — making coffee, taking a cold dip in the river, and soaking in the silence of the mountains. From there, I ride to Khorog, where I finally get some rest and meet @DevangSethiTPW after days of riding alone. After Khorog, the journey continues towards Kalaikhum and then onwards to Dushanbe. This stretch of the Pamir Highway is unlike anything else — the road runs right along the Afghanistan border, with Tajikistan on one side of the river and Afghanistan on the other. Villages, people, motorcycles, donkeys — all visible just across the water, separated only by a river. As the altitude drops, the landscape transforms, the roads get busier and I finally reach the capital of Tajikistan - Dushanbe!
