A gentle giant who's never been given the chance to prove himself, he just needs the right trainer to bring it out of him. Later, a rescue dog with a painful past crosses paths with a stroke survivor who had to rebuild her entire life from scratch. Two unlikely matches with more in common than anyone expected. And further into the marathon, an affectionate stray with zero training and a serious love of laps discovers his calling as a full time therapy dog for residents at an assisted living facility.
