Chhole-Kulcha stall owner’s son Arjun Rajput selected for India U-19 team for Sri Lanka tour

Punjab, June 13, 2026 (ANI) Arjun Rajput, the son of Hoti Ram—who runs a chhole-kulcha street stall in Jalandhar, has been selected for the Indian Under-19 cricket team, which will tour Sri Lanka on July 4th. He says, "I started at the age of 8-9 years at Harbhajan Academy. The journey was great and I was supported a lot by my coach. I had to struggle when the academy shut down because I could not get any place to practice... I was supported a lot by my parents... When my father saw my interest in cricket, he supported me... I was also backed a lot by Harbhajan Singh, I used to play in his ground. He also helped me with my studies... I felt delighted after being selected for the team...
