New Baby Giraffe has a Name! 🌱

🦒💚 Disney’s newest baby giraffe officially has a name! After Disney’s animal care team put together a list of 12 potential names, a vote was held to help choose the winner. Keeping with the herd’s tree-inspired naming tradition (her mom is Willow, and another giraffe in the herd is Maple), the newest addition has been named Ivy! 🌿 Disney shared that Ivy is doing great and spending time with her mom behind the scenes in the barn. While she’s not out on the savanna just yet, the animal care team says they can’t wait for guests to see her exploring with the rest of the herd soon. We’re already obsessed with this little one. 🥹🦒 Welcome to the family, Ivy! 💚✨
