The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has launched "Justice Mission 2025," a large-scale joint exercise simulating a full blockade and precision strike campaign against Taiwan. Integrating ground, naval, air, and rocket forces, these drills represent a "historic" show of force focused on long-distance deployment and joint precision engagements. A major highlight of the exercises is the deployment of H-6 long-range bombers armed with supersonic YJ-12 anti-ship missiles, designed to penetrate advanced naval defenses from 400 kilometers away. While the YJ-12 remains a potent threat, the PLA is also operationalizing next-generation "carrier killer" weapons like the hypersonic YJ-21, capable of striking targets at Mach 10.
