Taste of Tradition

Hi everyone! Today I’m enjoying my lunch in a traditional South Indian way on a banana leaf! 🍃 I picked this leaf from my own garden, and I’m relaxing in the yard, watching my pets and enjoying the cool breeze and the sound of birds. My husband cooked this delicious mutton curry, served with some fresh mango on the side — just like how my mother-in-law makes it in Tamil Nadu. After moving to Australia, I really miss those family-style traditional meals, but today brings back all those beautiful memories.
