Casper On Location | The Forgotten 1995 EXHIBIT: Universal Studios Florida Step back to the summer of 1995 at Universal Studios Florida, where guests got a rare chance to experience the short-lived Casper On Location attraction. Created to promote the release of the movie Casper, this behind-the-scenes exhibit featured sets, props, and special effects from the film—including a chance to step inside the haunted halls of Whipstaff Manor. The exhibit only ran for a single summer, making it one of Universal’s most forgotten attractions. Luckily, I was there on vacation in 1995 and filmed the experience on VHS. Now, 30 years later, I’ve upscaled my original footage into 4K—preserving this rare glimpse of Universal’s 90s history.
