Description

As I’m starting 2026, I wanted to take a moment to slow down and share my creative wishes for the new year 🌿 In this video, I’m talking about something that has been on my mind for a while: the pressure in the crochet and knitting community to constantly make more, design more, and create faster in order to grow. For 2026, my wish is to step away from that rhythm and choose a more intentional and thoughtful way of creating. I’m also sharing a few of the projects I started the year with and talking about my plans to dedicate more time to BKArtWear. Making earrings brings me so much joy, and I want to allow myself the space to experiment more, especially with natural fibers and new ideas. Another intention for this year is to work more in collections—like a summer collection with a small number of designs—so I can work ahead, reduce pressure, and give each design the time it deserves. This video is an honest reflection on creativity, slow making, and choosing purpose over speed. Thank you for being here and for supporting my work đŸ€ ✹ Let me know in the comments: what are your creative wishes for this year?
