2026 BMW iX - (xDrive60 and M70 xDrive) / Upcoming BMW iX The 2026 BMW iX receives a significant update with more power, improved efficiency, and an extended range. The WLTP range now reaches up to 701 km (435 miles). The xDrive45 produces 408 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, while the xDrive60 delivers 544 hp with a 0-100 km/h time of 4.6 seconds. The top-tier M70 xDrive boasts 659 hp, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds (3.5 seconds with rollout). Battery capacity has increased, with the xDrive45 now featuring a 94.8 kWh pack, while the xDrive60 and M70 have 109.1 kWh and 108.9 kWh batteries, respectively. Charging speeds are also improved, with the xDrive45 supporting up to 175 kW DC charging and the xDrive60/M70 models reaching 195 kW. The exterior design has been updated with a redesigned kidney grille, new headlights, and more seamless front and rear aprons. An M Sport package is now available, adding sportier styling elements. New color options include Arctic Race Blue, Dune Grey, Carbon Black, Frozen Deep Grey, Frozen Pure Grey, Tanzanite Blue, and Space Silver. Charging technology is smarter with Plug & Charge Multi Contract functionality and better navigation integration for optimized route planning.
