UPDATE from Dr. Ben Lovvorn | 02.26.26

Church family, We have a video update for you today from the construction site of our Historic Sanctuary. Dr. Ben Lovvorn interviews Rudy Cruz, and you’ll learn about the work our masonry restoration team is doing to repair and strengthen the historic brick walls. The first step is to fix the walls and fill in cracks caused by fire damage. This will ensure we are building our new sanctuary on a strong foundation. You’ll also notice some temporary walls in the Criswell Center this Sunday as the construction continues to develop. The physical construction taking place on our campus is a reminder of the spiritual work Christ does in our hearts and through our church: “As you come to him, a living stone—rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Peter” (1 Peter 2:4–5).
