As all of these suji nashta recipes are made with a cooked dough, you can make the dough in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and make different breakfast recipes every day.

Recipe:
3 Suji Nashta
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
For Suji Dough:
2 cups rava / suji / semolina,
3 tbsp oil
5 cups water
½ tsp salt
Tempering for Suji Balls:
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard
½ tsp urad dal
½ tsp chana dal
few curry leaves
2-3 dried red chilli
¼ tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
2 tbsp grated fresh coconut (optional)
2 tsp lemon juice
For Fara Stuffing:
½ cup chana dal, soaked
2 green chilies
10 cloves garlic
1” ginger
Salt to taste
For Fara Tempering:
2 tbsp oil
¼ tsp hing
½ tsp cumin seeds
For Momo Stuffing:
¼ cup chopped carrots
¼ cup chopped beans
¼ cup chopped cabbage
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Method:
For the Dough:
Bring to boil 5 cups water. Add the salt, oil and the suji. Mix well and cook till the dough comes together. Rest covered for 10 minutes and knead till smooth.
For Suji Balls:
Make marble sized balls of 1/3rd dough and steam for 8-10 minutes.
Prepare tempering and toss the balls in the tempering for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice, and serve garnished with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
For Fara:
Grind the drained chana dal with ginger, garlic, coriander, green chilies, salt to a coarse paste.
Roll out lemon sized balls of the dough to a 3” disc. Place a tbsp of stuffing over it and fold over. Prepare all Fara and steam for 10 minutes till the Fara are firm.
Heat oil, add Hing and cumin. Add the Fara and cook on both sides for 2 minutes and serve hot.
For Momo:
Heat the oil and add the chopped ginger garlic. Sauté till golden and fragrant. Add the vegetables and toss till crisp. Add soy sauce, vinegar , salt and pepper and toss well.
Cool completely. Roll out marble sized balls of the dough, place a tbsp of filling and shape into a momo.
Steam the momo for 10 minutes and serve with momo chutney.
