Wild bird species confrontation

The larger Kererū (Native New Zealand Woodpigeon) arrived looking for plain water to drink BUT the home boi Tūī went into protective mode for the smaller nectar feeders bowl. (Apricot jam in the water) Wing flapping & close dive bombing are the Tūī aggression techniques with no actual physical contact we saw.
