Description

A cold change is coming late Wednesday and going into Thursday and Friday in the south-east quarter of Australia, bringing snow to alpine and high elevation areas and a drop in temperatures, along with plenty of showers. Some showers may be heavy with hail on the southern coastline of Victoria and western side of Tassie. Colder southerly air will move into Qld and parts of the NT too, while southerlies, cloud and a few showers will linger on the southern coastline of SA and WA for a time, before milder weather kicks in. Many regions look quite dry after this as the next big high pressure zone drifts south of Australia.
