Description
To clarify, I didn't quit powerlifting. I still squat & deadlift every week, my split just changed to adapt to my current goals. Stay tuned for my next long form, as I'll address how to cut while progressing your strength.
A bit of background of what I'm doing, in November, I set myself up for two massive goals in 2026:
1) Compete in a meet at 100 KG. I did that & competed in the Arnold 2026 USAPL . At the moment, I'm happy about my performance and outcome with Powerlifting. Not to toot my own horn, but I've exceeded my expectations which is why I'm comfortable moving forward & way from powerlifting temporarily.
2) Get insanely lean & consider competing in a show. I'm not sold on competing in bodybuilding as I simply don't care about the sport that much. I do care about hypertrophy training, aesthetics and longevity, hence the noble nattiness.
Once getting down to the end of the cut, I do plan on staying around 93 KG and going for a 4x body deadlift that'll be well over 800 lbs.
Also, this video includes some training tips & would some feedback. I made this video 3 weeks ago, & I was considering scrapping it altogether. I hope you enjoy!
