It's always immense fun, and we're always encouraged to try new things and collaborate with each other on stage. (Musical comedians are usually kept apart from each other at regular gigs, because who wants two musical comedians on one bill?) During my sound check, it suddenly occurred to me that I had an amazing backing band at my disposal. (Mitch Benn on bass, Kirsty Newton on keys and Ivan Sheppard on drums).
