Live coverage of the JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) HTV-X1 cargo spacecraft departure from the International Space Station. Release scheduled for 12 p.m. EST, 0500 UTC, 18:00 CET. After a successful launch on 8:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Oct. 25 (0000 UTC Oct. 26) from the Tanegashima Space Center in southern Japan, the HTV X-1 spacecraft arrived at the ISS Wednesday, Oct. 29 and was captures at 11:50 a.m. EDT (1550 UTC). The unmanned spacecraft is carrying 4.5 tons of food and supplies for the crew aboard the space station. The event is hosted by NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
