Description

Today we finally switch things up on Gold Dust. My 1970 Ford F250 4x4 Cummins build. We pulled off the rare Mickey Thompson Baja Belted Twos and tested multiple wheel and tire setups to see what actually looks best on this truck. From 17x12 Canyons to 20x9 Detroit steel wheels wrapped in 42” Baja Bosses, this thing completely changed personality every time we swapped setups. Gold Dust has been with me since 2020 and has evolved into one of the wildest trucks I’ve ever owned. Sitting on a custom chassis with a 16-inch lift, Super Duty axles, Skyjacker coilovers, and a fully built 12-valve Cummins, this thing was made to drive and enjoy. We also take a closer look at the truck, the current setup, and what’s next for the future of Gold Dust and the upcoming Route 66 Mother Road Run build. Truck Specs: • 1970 Ford F250 4x4 • 12 Valve Cummins Swap • 16” Lift by Trailhunters Miami • Skyjacker Coilovers Save 10% on Skyjacker.com use code: FORDERA10 • Super Duty Axles • 42x13.50/20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss Tires • Detroit Steel Wheels 20x9 D-Towns • Solos MFG Billet Parts • Engineered Vintage GOAT Bumper • KC Lights • Dapper Lighting Headlights • Restomod Air • Dakota Digital Gauges Huge thanks to everyone supporting Ford Era and all the companies helping make these builds happen.
