The incident raises a major question: if the ceasefire still exists, why are the Revolutionary Guards acting like the next round is already being prepared? The moderate regional front against Iran appears to be tightening. Israel reportedly sent advanced air-defense systems and teams to the United Arab Emirates with American backing, Qatar warned Iran against using Hormuz as a tool of extortion against Gulf states, and reports say Saudi Arabia also struck inside Iran during the war. Meanwhile, Israel is preparing for the possibility of expanding ground activity in southern Lebanon after IDF forces crossed the Litani River for the first time in more than two and a half years.
