Description

There aren’t many experiments that are theoretically as simple as combining two elements and yet have never been done before. In this video, we combine the two most reactive and among the most dangerous elements in the periodic table. We mix the most reactive metal on Earth, cesium, with the most reactive element, fluorine. Together with Elias Experiments and NileRed, I visited the fluorine lab of Prof. Kraus in Marburg to carry out a series of experiments no one had ever seen before. But that’s not all. We also react cesium with chlorine trifluoride and bromine trifluoride. All experiments were filmed using a high-speed camera to capture stunning footage of these never-before-seen reactions.
