Description
Today we’re heading out to see how our new buckskin Appaloosa horse, Taz, handles his first big mountain adventure with us. Reata, our dun mule, is joining along. We ride through some rugged, beautiful country with amazing mountain views, rocky trails, and stumble upon signs of an old geologic upheaval. The 26-mile fault line left behind by the 1983 earthquake is still visible today, and following it on horseback really shows how much damage this earthquake did. Along the way we find a few deer shed antlers, enjoy the quiet of the high country, and wrap up the day by cooking elk tacos over an open fire. Join us for some campfire conversation and please let us know in the comments if you enjoyed this type of video or not :)
